While the summer heat is keeping everyone busy having their tan lines on, I'm spending my summer a different kind of way.
It's sort of unfortunate for me to spend most of my summer days in the classroom, but still I look at it in a positive way. It's a time for me to really put into my head all this learning without distractions and temptations. Well, I get to practice and rekindle my passion and love for the arts and I feel a bit good with my skill [not to brag!]
And if I am not doing plates for class, you might as well see me in the gym sweating it out. I've been trying hard to lose some pounds and from a 164 lbs. to 148 lbs. [clap! clap!]. What also keeps me going back to the gym is the hip hop classes they are offering. I use to dance before when I was still a kid. But after on, haven't dance then. So these hip hop classes are a must for me to get the groove on and shake. And it's also a good cardio exercise- burn and fun.
Last week, my friends and I had a little play, but it was quite a struggle getting there. We had a mini shoot somewhere in Mandaue. One thing to always remember: Always bring sunblock! I was not really expecting to be shooting under the sun, but the show must go one. So, I sacrificed getting burned to get a good photo and ended up really burned and red.
I love wearing my F&H tank most especially during warm days cause it's comfy and breezy. And now that I have a grown shaved head and feels uneven to look at, caps are quite a use. To top the summer look off, a white shorts from Penshoppe would be great.
The last pic is my burned self after being under the scorching sun. It was really tiring after the shoot and went to bed straight at 6pm.
Guess I'll cut the story 'til here cause I have plates to still work on. Adios mi amigos!
Thanks to Erna Santos and Nikki Omas-as for the photo. You know how forgetful I was during this day. :)
